Jett Joins Stadium Super Trucks at Road America

August 7th, 2020 – Jett Noland will attempt his first start in the Stadium Super Truck Series Saturday night at Road America in Elk Heart Lake, Wisconsin after meeting with series owner Robby Gordon Thursday evening.

“We showed up to Road America to race Trans-Am, and ended up in a Stadium Super Truck which is pretty awesome,” said Noland. “It’s an honor to be racing with Robby Gordon. I can’t wait to get into the truck Saturday.”

Saturday is looking to become a busy day for 16-year-old Noland. The versatile driver who has competed in everything from Go Karts, to Super Late Models, and Trans Am TA-2 cars, will race in not one, but two Stadium Super Truck features Saturday as well as his regularly scheduled Trans Am race with Mike Cope Racing.

“The main focus is obviously the Trans Am car,” Noland continued. “But I’ve always wanted to drive one of these trucks since I was a kid on a four wheeler in the back woods of Groveland. So I’m looking forward to having a little fun.”

“I have to thank my sponsors, Noland’s Roofing and Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve for making this happen, as well as Mike Cope Racing for their support this weekend at Road America.”

Race Preview Trans-Am: Road America

August 5, 2020 – The Noland’s Roofing – Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve Mustang is back for Round Four of the 2020 Trans Am Series Championship at Road Atlanta. Jett Noland will be behind the wheel of the No.66 prepared by Mike Cope Racing, ready to contend for a victory and the series Rookie of the Year honors.

“I’ve never felt more confident in these Mike Cope Racing guys,” Noland said. “They do an excellent job putting together a fast hot rod and keeping us up front.”

“While I haven’t raced at Road America before, I’ve gotten a lot of time in on the simulator,” Noland continued. “I think that experience will really help me close the gap on my competition this weekend.”

Noland will hope to do just that as he sits 5th in Series Points with veteran Cameron Lawrence clear in his sights.

The Trans Am TA-2’s will be doing 25 laps or 65 minutes Saturday afternoon starting at 2:15pm. Fans can watch all the action live on the Trans Am Series Facebook Page as well as the Trans Am App.
