Weekend Preview – Hart to Heart 100 at New Smyrna Speedway

October 14, 2020 – Jett Noland will be back behind the wheel this weekend as he and the Anthony Campi Racing crew will be tackling the Hart to Heart 100 at New Smyrna Speedway. This marks the third Southern Super Series start of 2020 for the 2019 Rookie of the year Runner up.

“I’m thrilled to be heading back to New Smyrna Speedway this weekend,” said Noland. “We’ve run so well there this year. I honestly think this could be our best opportunity to break through and pick up our first Southern Super Series victory.”

Saturday will be Noland’s first Super Late Model start since finishing third in the Clyde Hart Memorial in August. He bested the likes of Kyle Busch and Matt Craig that day.

“Anthony Campi and his crew have such a feel for this track and what our Noland’s Roofing – Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve Camry needs to get around it,” Noland continued. “It makes it easy for me to just go out and drive. Hopefully that means we can replicate the kind of results I know we’re capable of.”

Fans can watch the Southern Super Series Hart to Heart 100 Saturday night at New Smyrna Speedway. Gates open at 6:00pm with racing getting underway at 7:30. If unable to attend, the race will be streamed live on Speed51.TV.

Race Recap: Noland Podiums at New Smyrna

August 29, 2020 – Jett Noland is back on the podium after Thursday night’s Clyde Hart Memorial Super Late Model 100.

Starting fifth on the field, Noland quickly drove to the front, challenging Stephen Nasse for the lead in the first thirty laps. Though a few cautions threw a wrench in his plans, as Brad May was able to get around him and hold him off.

“This Anthony Campi Racing crew gave me a fast hot rod tonight,” Noland said after the race. “It was a little hard to pass tonight because the track was so slick, and we started getting a little loose towards the end there. But I’m pretty happy with our performance.”

While the 2020 schedule is forever changing, Thursday night’s performance gives Noland a vote of confidence going into October’s Winchester 400.

“The field we had tonight was phenomenal,” Noland continued. “While we didn’t get the win, we beat the likes of Kyle Busch, Matt Craig, Sammy Smith, and Jesse Dutilly. That’s world class talent right there.”

Jett and the crew will focus on continuing to add on Jett’s already phenomenal season as it builds to a crescendo at this year’s Winchester 400.

Weekend Recap: Pensacola and Montgomery

August 3rd, 2020 – It was a busy weekend on the Gulf Coast for Jett Noland and the Anthony Campi Racing crew.

Friday night the weekend kicked off with the Southern Super Series Summer Sizzler 75 at Five Flags Speedway, where Jett was able to secure at 12th place finish in his return to Super Late Model competition.

After starting fifteenth on the evening, Noland quickly drove up to twelfth in the opening laps, though contact with Jeremy Pate on Lap 35 quickly stalled efforts to continue driving through the field.

“We had a great short run car,” Noland Said. “We didn’t anticipate the race running caution free for the most part. Combine that with the damage we received from contact with the 21 and we were kind of stuck in the water towards the end.”

While Friday night didn’t go exactly according to plan, Saturday at Montgomery Motor Speedway did as Noland was able to capitalize on great starting track position to pick up a third place finish.

“We were on the Money at Montgomery,” said Noland. “Once we got out front setting the pace I didn’t think anyone would catch us. But a few cautions hit late in the race and brought the field back to us. All in all I’m really happy with the results.”

Next up for Jett Noland and the Noland’s Roofing – Cypress ridge Hunting Preserve crew is a weekend at Road America in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

“I’m excited to get back behind the wheel of this Anthony Campi Racing No.81 this weekend,” said Noland. “It’s been a while since I’ve been behind the wheel the Super Late Model, but I have high hopes for what we can accomplish Friday night at Five Flags.”

While Noland’s return to Southern Super Series competition will be one thing, keeping the No.81 Pro Late Model in victory lane will be another Noland explains.

“Montgomery’s race on Saturday night is going to be a different challenge, seeing as some of Pro Late Model racing’s best will be there,” Noland continued. “We spent last week testing both cars and obviously come into this weekend with a little momentum from our win at Cordele. I think we’ve got a good shot at keeping the car in victory lane this weekend.”

Race Recap: Trans AM at Mid Ohio

June 29, 2020 – Jett Noland competed in his second Trans AM TA-2 event this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sprots Car Course, picking up a 6th place finish in the process in his Mike Cope Racing Noland’s RoofingCypress Ridge Hunting Preserve Mustang.

While starting 8th in his first ever trip to Mid-Ohio, Noland quickly found a groove and patiently migrated his way through the field. As the clock zeroed in on the final 10 minutes of competition, the yellow flag came out for Rafa Matos coming to a stop on the track, which marked the end of the race. Though officials would throw the green flag after time had expired for a one lap showdown. In this lap Noland would get caught up with Mike Cope Racing teammate Misha Goikhberg. But it would be for not as race officials would refer back to the last lap run before the clock expired.

“I’m glad the race officials reviewed the tape and got the call right,” said Noland. “After what happened at Sebring, these boys at Mike Cope Racing have worked too hard to have the race end like that again. I’m happy for my teammate Thomas Merrill on picking up the victory.”

While many wonder if things are good between Noland and Goikhberg, Noland quickly smiled.

“Yeah, we’re good. He had an issue on the final lap, unfortunately we got involved. But he’s fine, we’re fine, and we’re ready to get after it in the next round.”

The Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli rolls on to Brainerd, Minnesota July 10-12 for it’s next competition. Stay tuned to JettNoland.com for schedule updates on where the Noland’s Roofing – Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve ride will be next.

Race Recap: PLM New Smyrna

June 21, 2020 – Jett Noland won the Pro Late Model 50 at New Smyrna Speedway in his inaugural start with Anthony Campi Racing Saturday night.

This marks Noland’s fourth Pro Late Model win at New Smyrna Speedway in 2020 and first trip to victory lane with Anthony Campi Racing. After winning the pole and starting sixth on the inversion Noland quickly drove through the field taking the lead on lap 10. After several cautions slowed the field, he valiantly held off all rivals for the remainder of the race, ending the night on a 25 lap green flag run.

“First off, I can’t thank the guys at Anthony Campi Racing enough for giving me a solid car tonight,” Noland said in a post race interview. “Their hard work made me look good out there.”

“I’d also like to thank my sponsors Noland’s Roofing and Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve for always having my back,” Noland continued. “As well as my mom and dad. It’s Father’s Day weekend. I can’t think of a better gift for my dad than this trophy. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.”

Noland will now look to repeat his winning ways next weekend in the Trans Am TA-2 race at Mid-Ohio.

“That Trans-Am car is a completely different beast,” said Noland. “But I’m really happy with our car after our test at Virginia International Raceway last week. Knowing how much effort the Mike Cope Racing boys put in at the shop. We should have a contender.”
