June 29, 2020 – Jett Noland competed in his second Trans AM TA-2 event this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sprots Car Course, picking up a 6th place finish in the process in his Mike Cope Racing Noland’s Roofing – Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve Mustang.
While starting 8th in his first ever trip to Mid-Ohio, Noland quickly found a groove and patiently migrated his way through the field. As the clock zeroed in on the final 10 minutes of competition, the yellow flag came out for Rafa Matos coming to a stop on the track, which marked the end of the race. Though officials would throw the green flag after time had expired for a one lap showdown. In this lap Noland would get caught up with Mike Cope Racing teammate Misha Goikhberg. But it would be for not as race officials would refer back to the last lap run before the clock expired.
“I’m glad the race officials reviewed the tape and got the call right,” said Noland. “After what happened at Sebring, these boys at Mike Cope Racing have worked too hard to have the race end like that again. I’m happy for my teammate Thomas Merrill on picking up the victory.”
While many wonder if things are good between Noland and Goikhberg, Noland quickly smiled.
“Yeah, we’re good. He had an issue on the final lap, unfortunately we got involved. But he’s fine, we’re fine, and we’re ready to get after it in the next round.”
The Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli rolls on to Brainerd, Minnesota July 10-12 for it’s next competition. Stay tuned to JettNoland.com for schedule updates on where the Noland’s Roofing – Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve ride will be next.

June 22, 2020 – Jett Noland returns to the Trans Am presented by Pirelli TA-2 grid this weekend at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. Armed with a brand new Mike Cope Racing built chasis, Noland looks to break into his first road racing podium.
“I’m so excited to be going to Mid Ohio with this Mike Cope Racing team,” said Noland. “These guys built me a heck of a hot rod. We tested it at VIR last week and it’s pretty impressive right out of the gate.”
Noland looks to continue his momentum fresh off of a Pro Late Model victory at New Smyrna Speedway last Saturday night and he feels that the Mike Cope Racing crew can make that happen.
“We’re starting to hit our stride heading into the summer,” Noland continued. “I’m starting to feel comfortable behind the wheel again and I can’t wait to see what we can do this weekend at Mid Ohio.”

June 21, 2020 – Jett Noland won the Pro Late Model 50 at New Smyrna Speedway in his inaugural start with Anthony Campi Racing Saturday night.
This marks Noland’s fourth Pro Late Model win at New Smyrna Speedway in 2020 and first trip to victory lane with Anthony Campi Racing. After winning the pole and starting sixth on the inversion Noland quickly drove through the field taking the lead on lap 10. After several cautions slowed the field, he valiantly held off all rivals for the remainder of the race, ending the night on a 25 lap green flag run.
“First off, I can’t thank the guys at Anthony Campi Racing enough for giving me a solid car tonight,” Noland said in a post race interview. “Their hard work made me look good out there.”
“I’d also like to thank my sponsors Noland’s Roofing and Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve for always having my back,” Noland continued. “As well as my mom and dad. It’s Father’s Day weekend. I can’t think of a better gift for my dad than this trophy. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.”
Noland will now look to repeat his winning ways next weekend in the Trans Am TA-2 race at Mid-Ohio.
“That Trans-Am car is a completely different beast,” said Noland. “But I’m really happy with our car after our test at Virginia International Raceway last week. Knowing how much effort the Mike Cope Racing boys put in at the shop. We should have a contender.”

– Jett Noland Press Release
Groveland, FL (June 15, 2020) – After thoughtful consideration, Jett Noland will be back behind the wheel this weekend in New Smyrna Speedway’s Pro Late Model 50. While Noland has seen much success at the famous half mile, this time things will be a little bit different as he gets behind the wheel of the Anthony Campi Racing No.81 for the first time.
“We’ve struggled a bit as of late on the Late Model side of things,” said Noland. “So, we’ve decided to go a new direction. We loved working with Jett Motorsports. They’re some great guys and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished with them. But right now it’s no secret that Anthony is one of the best in the business at the Late Model level at developing young drivers. You know his cars are going to be competitive at every track they pull into. So I’m really looking forward to working with him and his crew this weekend and developing this partnership.”
While the pairing may be new, Noland and Campi have seen a lot of one another around the racetrack in recent years, giving both sides confidence heading into this weekend.
“I have watched Jett over the last few years progress into a great racecar driver,” said Campi. “Myself and the boys at ACR are excited to get started on honing in the knowledge and racecraft to propel this young talent to the next level.”
Fans can join in on the action this weekend at New Smyrna Speedway. Gates open at 6:00pm and the green flag flies at 7:30.
